Managing Members

Invite, remove, and organize your squad members effectively.

Overview

Your squad's strength comes from its members. This guide covers how to grow your squad and manage your roster.

Inviting Members

There are several ways to add people to your squad:

Direct Invite

  1. Go to your squad's management page
  2. Click "Invite Member"
  3. Search for users by username
  4. Send the invite

The user receives a notification and can accept or decline.

Invite Link

  1. Generate an invite link from squad settings
  2. Share the link (Discord, social media, etc.)
  3. Anyone with the link can join directly

You can set links to expire or have use limits for security.

Join Requests

If your squad allows join requests, users can request to join from your public page. Review requests in your dashboard and approve or deny them.

The Member List

View all members from your squad page or management dashboard. The list shows:

  • Username and display name
  • Avatar
  • Role (Owner, Admin, Member)
  • Join date
  • Status (online, offline, in-game)

Tip

Click on any member to view their profile or manage their role.

Removing Members

Sometimes you need to remove someone from the squad:

Kick Member

  1. Find the member in your member list
  2. Click the menu (three dots) or "Manage"
  3. Select "Remove from Squad"
  4. Confirm the action

Ban Member

Banning prevents the user from rejoining. Use this for serious issues. Banned users can be unbanned later if needed.

Warning

Only Owners and Admins can remove members. Admins cannot remove other Admins or the Owner.

When Members Leave

Members can leave your squad voluntarily at any time:

  • They go to the squad page and click "Leave Squad"
  • They're immediately removed from the roster
  • They can rejoin later if the squad allows it

Note

The Owner cannot leave the squad. To step down, transfer ownership first.

Assigning Roles

Promote members to give them more permissions:

    Find the member

    In the member list on your management page.

    Click "Manage" or the member's menu

    Opens role management options.

    Select the new role

    Promote to Admin or demote back to Member.

Transferring Ownership

If you need to step down as Owner:

  1. Go to Squad Settings
  2. Find "Transfer Ownership"
  3. Select the new Owner from your member list
  4. Confirm the transfer

Danger

Ownership transfer is permanent. You'll become an Admin after transferring. Make sure you trust the new Owner.

Member Capacity

Squads can have many members, but consider:

  • Most tournaments have team size limits
  • Raids often have specific roster sizes
  • Very large squads may be harder to manage

There's no hard limit on squad size—organize members however works best for your community.
