Scheduling Raids
Create and schedule recurring or one-time group events for your squad.
Overview
Raids help you coordinate group activities within your Squad. Whether it's a weekly raid night, practice session, or casual gaming meetup, the scheduling system keeps everyone informed and organized.
Creating a Raid
- 1Go to Your Squad
Navigate to the squad you want to create a raid for.
- 2Click "Create Raid"
Found in the Raids tab or from the squad dashboard.
- 3Fill in Details
Enter the raid name, description, date, time, and other settings.
- 4Publish
Squad members will be notified and can sign up.
Raid Settings
Raid Name
A clear name describing the event. Example: "Tuesday Mythic Raid" or "Ranked Practice Night"
Description
Details about what you'll be doing, requirements, goals, or any important notes.
Date & Time
When the raid starts. Times are displayed in each member's local timezone.
Duration (Optional)
Expected length of the raid. Helps members plan their time.
Max Participants
Limit signups to a specific number. Useful for content with strict group sizes.
One-Time vs Recurring Raids
One-Time Raid
A single event on a specific date.
- • Good for special events
- • Content you're trying once
- • One-off practice sessions
Recurring Raid
Repeats on a schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, etc.).
- • Weekly raid nights
- • Regular practice schedules
- • Ongoing content progression
Tip
Recurrence Options
For recurring raids, choose how often they repeat:
- Daily: Same time every day
- Weekly: Same day and time each week
- Bi-weekly: Every two weeks
- Monthly: Same day of month
- Custom: Specific days of the week (e.g., Tuesday/Thursday)
You can set an end date or let the raid continue indefinitely.
Time Zones
Raids are timezone-aware to help global squads coordinate:
- You create the raid in your local time
- Members see it converted to their timezone
- No confusion about "8 PM server time"
Note
Managing Scheduled Raids
After creating a raid, you can:
Edit Details
Update the name, description, or settings. Members are notified of changes.
Reschedule
Change the date or time. Great when plans change.
Cancel
Cancel the raid entirely. All signed-up members are notified.
Duplicate
Create a copy of the raid with a new date. Saves time setting up similar events.
Notifications
Keep your squad informed with automatic notifications:
- When a new raid is created
- Reminders before the raid starts (configurable)
- If the raid is rescheduled or cancelled
- When signup status changes (waitlist promoted, etc.)
